Loved the food. It was a rainy afternoon today so we didn’t get to enjoy all they have to offer. My husband loved his lobster po’boy. My dad and I enjoyed our perfectly cooked steaks. Mom said her seafood platter was great. The only item we didn’t like were the green beans. They had a slightly bitter taste. Overall it was a wonderful family dinner. We will be back!

It was recommend by a family member who lives in Sumter. We were attending a disaster relief training at Alice drive church. Food was great and Jesse? I think that’s her name was s great severer. We’ll be back soon!

The service was impeccable; the staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server helped us navigate through the menu, recommending some of their signature dishes, which did not disappoint.

I highly recommend trying their Mermaid Nachos, it was simply outstanding.

Took a drive 🚗 and came across this place unexpectedly. FABULOUS! Atmosphere laid back and yet you cannot help but feel energized!
Valerie was our server! Valerie shared what she liked in the menu – great conversation. Everyone that worked there were energetic and outgoing!

Hands down the best restaurant in Sumter. Staff is extreme friendly and food was wonderful. The crawfish appetizer is a must. We also had the special for the evening which was a shrimp and crab cake pasta.

We just had an amazing meal and even better service! Valerie was wonderful and super attentive! Mr Stan was also amazing and made a point to ensure we were good and enjoying our experience. The food is DELICIOUS!!!! We ordered the burger, poboys, and chicken tenders. It was also so good but next time we are definitely ordering the brisket! We can’t wait to go back!

We were in town for the holidays, visiting family, and popped into Palmetto Oyster House for dinner – and wow, were we surprised!

First off, the crab cakes were loaded with fresh crab, perfectly seasoned, and had this amazing crispy outside. Seriously, some of the best crab cakes ever!

The New Orleans shrimp were awesome too – that authentic spicy kick with great herbs and spices, every bite was perfect

We also got the Mahi Mahi Club, and it was a solid choice. The fish was grilled just right, and with the fresh veggies, it was super filling

Even the sides were great – the coleslaw had a nice tang, the fries were crispy (though a little salty), and the hushpuppies were sweet with real corn in them

Overall, Palmetto Oyster House was fantastic – great food, great quality, and that chill Southern vibe. Definitely check it out if you’re craving some amazing seafood!

Nice place to spend some good time with friends. Huge assortment of beers and tasty food. Our waitress was friendly, reliable and had a good sense of humor. Thanks for the nice evening.
